Hello. I'm Gary Hull.

I live in Williams, MN, near Lake of the Woods.  I've spent a lifetime hunting, fishing and trapping. However, a series of back surgeries forced me to slow down and find a hobby that was not so physically demanding.  I made my first decoy in 2003 and quickly became  a competitive force in decoy carving competitions. Aside from carving, I am also employed as a lineman for North Star Electric Cooperative in Baudette, MN.

I was the runner up in the 2004 NATIONAL FISH DECOY ASSOCIATION (NFDA) points competition. I placed first overall in the standings of the NFDA carving competitions in 2005 and repeated my championship in 2006; the first back to back champ in NFDA history.
